This is how I've made my tool to create the wire spirals that I use in my polymer clay works as card/photo holders.
With this tool I can get very similar shapes and sizes. Also I can choose the size and hight of the spirals, adapting them to the size of the work and making them proportional.
To make your tool, you will need:
- A cable with an oval shape at the top
- Aluminium wire
- Epoxy glue or other strong glue
Neste vídeo mostro como fiz a minha ferramenta para criar as espirais de arame e que eu uso nos meus trabalhos de cerâmica plástica, como porta cartões / fotos.
Com esta ferramenta posso obter formas e tamanhos muito semelhantes. Também eu posso escolher o tamanho e altura das espirais, adaptando-as ao tamanho do trabalho e tornando-as proporcionais.
Para fazer a sua ferramenta, você vai precisar de:
- Um cabo com uma forma oval no topo
- Arame de alumínio
- Cola epóxi ou outra cola forte
